The New Subfolder button is available on the collection toolbar when an AceText Collection tab is active.
Click the New Subfolder button, or press Ctrl+F4 on the keyboard to add a new folder to the collection. This moves keyboard focus to the edit box for the label. You can enter the folder’s label immediately.
The new folder is added as a subfolder to the active folder. If a clip is active then the folder is added as a sibling to the selected clip, below the selected clip. Unlike the New Folder command, the New Subfolder command does not take into account whether multiple clips are selected. Nothing is moved automatically into the newly added subfolder.
If you want to add a folder above the active clip or if you want a newly added folder to become the parent folder of the selected items then use the New Folder button instead of the New Subfolder button.
